Davington Primary School

Faversham, Kent

Our Performance

Our aim at Davington is to ensure all children are taught well and have good learning opportunities throughout the curriculum so that every child can make or exceed expected progress.

Pupils take national tests in May when they reach the end of key stage 2. These test skills in:

  • English reading
  • English grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS)
  • Mathematics
  • The tests last less than 4 hours and your school will get the results in July
  • Parents will receive a copy of their child's results with their child's school report in July

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, assessments did not take place in 2019/20 or 2020/21.

KS2 testing resumed in May 2022.  To view the 2022-2023 KS2 performance data please click on the link.  The data shows the performance of our pupils at key stage 2 (school years 3 to 6), which are the last four years of the primary phase of education. These figures were published in April 2024 and relate to pupils who completed key stage 2 in the summer of 2023.

Further information about our schools performance can be found on the School and College performance measures website.

Please note:

School performance data for the 2022/23 academic year should be used with caution given the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected individual schools and pupils differently.

School performance data should be considered alongside a range of other information about the school, which could include looking at school websites, reading Ofsted reports, and speaking to the school directly. Conclusions should not be drawn on a single piece of data alone.
